Ingredients :
1st Marinade
250g Prawns
1tsp Salt
1/2tsp Turmeric Powder
1/2tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
Juice of 1 Lemon
2nd Marinade
1tsp K. Red Chilli Powder
1tsp Degi Mirch
1tsp Coriander Powder
1/2tsp Garam Masala
1/2tsp Cumin Powder
1/2tsp B. Pepper Powder
1/2tsp Dry Mango Powder
1/2tsp Chaat Masala
1/2tbsp Oil
1 Egg White
2tbsp Chickpea Flour
2tbsp Cornflour
Oil to Fry
Chutney Recipe:
Handful of Coriander Leaves
1/4 Cup Mint Leaves
3 Chillies
7 - 8 Garlic Cloves
Half Onion
Half Tomato (optional)
Lemon sized Tamarind
1/2tsp Salt
1tsp Sugar
1/2tsp Black Salt
1tsp Cumin Powder
Ice Cubes
Grind all the above ingredients to a fine paste.
Method :
1. Clean and devein prawns.
2. Add salt, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste and lemon juice to the prawns. Mix well and let it marinate for 15 mins.
3. Now for the second marinade add in all the mentioned spices along with oil, egg white, cornflour and chicpea flour. Mix well.
4. Heat oil and fry the prawns little at a time for 3 - 4 mins on medium flame. Do not crowd the pan.
5. Sprinkle chaat masala on it and serve with sliced onions and lemon.
