Barfi Kebab
Ingredients -
Outer Layer :
350g Chicken
1tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
1tsp Green Chilli Paste
1/2tsp Salt
1/2tsp Tandoori Masala
1/2tsp Meat Masala (nay brand)
1/2tsp White Pepper Powder
1/4tsp Garam Masala
2 Slice Bread
Half Handful Coriander Leaves
6 - 7 Mint Leaves
1tbsp Butter
Green Layer :
2tbsp Oil
1 Onion
1tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
1/2tbsp Crushed Green Chillies
150g Chicken Mince
1/2tsp Salt
1/2tsp Coriander Powder
1/4tsp Cumin Powder
1/4tsp Black Pepper
1/4tsp Red Chilli Powder
1/4tsp Garam Masala
A Pinch of Green Food Color
3tbsp Mayonnaise
2 Eggs
Cheese Slice
Bread Crumbs
Oil to Deep Fry
Method :
1. For the outer layer - Into a food processor, add chicken, ginger garlic green chilli paste, salt, spices, bread slices, coriander mint leaves and butter. Grind to a fine paste.
2. For the green layer, heat oil in a pan. Add chopped onions. Saute till translucent.
3. Add ginger garlic paste, crushed chillies And saute for a minute.
3. Add chicken mince and cook till it changes color.
4. Add salt and spices. Mix well.
5. Add green food color. Mix well.
6. Cool & Grind for a few seconds to get an even texture. Mix mayonnaise and set aside.
7. Take 70g of the chicken mixture and spread it in between plastic sheets.
8. Place a cheese slice and 20g of the green mixture.
9. Close from all 4 sides to make a square.
10. Dip in egg was and coat with bread crumbs.
11. Deep fry till light golden brown and enjoy.
