Ingredients :
1/4 cup Ghee
1/2 cup Curd
1/4 cup Milk
1tsp Rose Water
Few Saffron Strands
1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
1 Cup Milk Powder
3/4 cup All Purpose Flour
1/2tsp Cardamom Powder
3/4tsp Baking Powder
3/4tsp Baking Soda
Sugar Syrup
1 Cup Water
1 Cup Sugar
1/4tsp Cardamom Powder
1tsp Rose Water
Few Saffron Strands
Method :
1. In a bowl, add ghee, beaten or whisked curd, milk, rose water & a few saffron strands. Mix it well.
2. Now add the milk powder, all purpose flour, cardamom powder, baking powder and baking soda. Mix it well till smooth and lump free.
3. Pour the mixture in a greased lined tray and bake in preheated oven at 180°C for 25 - 30 mins.
4. For the sugar syrup, take some water in a pan. Add sugar, cardamom powder, rose water and saffron strands. Mix it well till sugar is dissolved and bring to a boil.
5. Pour the hot sugar syrup on cake and allow it to soak all the syrup.
6. Decorate with chandi ka warq and chopped pistachios and serve.
